1972
The First Crossing
Irish Ferries launched its inaugural service between Dublin and Holyhead, opening a new chapter in Irish maritime travel and giving passengers a comfortable, affordable link to Britain.
1984
Rosslare to Cherbourg Route
We expanded to the continent, launching our celebrated Rosslare–Cherbourg route and giving Irish travellers their first direct ferry link to the heart of France.
1995
High-Speed Era Begins
Irish Ferries introduced its first high-speed catamaran, dramatically cutting crossing times and redefining passenger expectations for modern ferry travel.
2007
Holiday Package Launch

W.B. Yeats Sets Sail
